version 1 - prototype using DRWimp

The source of questions is a list of word pairs. The program presents a word at random from column A. The program offers a list of words from column B which includes the partner of the selected word.

Player clicks on what he thinks is the answer. If correct he scores one point.

The process repeats until a set number of words have been presented and the round is complete.

statistics are recorded

config file interface introduced for:-

• name of word list
• interval between words appearing
• number of goes per round
• number of words in multiple choice list
• option to run in background and every so often pop up a window with a challenge

• rewrite in C++
• GUI for config file
• extra config options eg selection criteria for question
• sound
• animation
• drop wordlist on window to change list
• register a file type for flashpairs
